Patient Partner – Prescription Ordering Instructions

Instructions to gain access to the system –

1. Call the surgeries main number (02476382554), then follow the menu options for Prescription Ordering (Option 1, followed by Option 1 on the next menu)

2. The system will then ask you to enter the date of birth of the patient you wish to order for, in a six-digit format followed by the star key * (for example, DD-MM-YY*)

3. You will then be asked to enter the phone number for the patient, followed by the star key *. This can be either home number or a mobile number but must be a number listed on the records we hold for the patient.

4. Once these details have been checked against our system, you will then be asked to enter a six-digit pin that should have been sent to you via text (or via post if you have no Mobile Number on system).

If no pin has been created and sent to you, the system will ask you to create one. This will act as your login credentials whenever you access the system. If the system asks you for a pin code and you haven’t been sent one, or have lost or forgotten it, please contact us through the usual methods (email/phone) and we can get this generated and resent to you. If the system doesn’t recognise your account, please contact us and we can onboard you to the service, and send confirmation or a pin code to you.

5. Once the pin code has been accepted, the system will take you through your prescription ordering.

PLEASE NOTE: During busier times there can be a slight delay to the system whilst it processes the information you enter (DOB, Phone Number etc.,), If the system doesn’t recognise either the Date of Birth or Phone number you are entering, Please contact us using the “update your details” form on the website to ensure we have the correct details for you on our system. This can then be rectified, and your credentials re-sent if needed.

This Service will only be accessible in the surgeries opening hours (8am – 12:30pm, 13:30pm – 18:30pm, Monday – Friday)

Kind Regards, Old Mill Surgery
