A service for people who are feeling stressed, anxious, low in mood or depressed. We currently have 2 therapists that see patients at the Practice on a Monday and Wednesday. Counselling Services for Young People and Families
REACH – offer on-line counselling from the comfort of your own home. If you feel that you could benefit from accessing support with a Counsellor but are worried about meeting someone face-to-face or would find it difficult to get to one of their centres then online counselling could be for you. You will need to be 12 years or over to access this service. They can offer Family counselling, and Childrens and young peoples counselling. Family Planning

Mother and Baby
Dr Garala and Dr Parvataneni offer 6 week post natal checks at the Practice, we can organise this when you attend for your babies Child vaccinations for all children up to age 5.Time: A drop in session on Tuesday mornings 9.30 – 11.00 am Practice Nurse appointments are usually scheduled by Child Health and you should receive an appointment in the post.
Vaccinations
Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.
We run a flu vaccination clinic in October. Ask at reception for further information.

Asthma
Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.

Diabetes
Regular monitoring with the Specialist Diabetic Nurse’s

Heart Care
Regular monitoring is advised with patients who suffer with Angina or had a Heart Attack.

Smoking Cessation
We encourage all smokers to stop smoking and offer a smoking cessation service

Minor Surgery
Dr Marson carries out a range of minor surgical procedures.
Time: Please consult Dr Marson to see if your problem can be dealt with by the Surgery.
Osteoporosis/Stroke Care
All at risk patients are encouraged to attend for a check up with the Specialist Nurse at least annually

Hypertension
All patients with high blood pressure are advised to attend for regular check ups with the Practice Nurse

Cardio Vascular Disease Checks
We offer free healthy lifestyle CVD checks with the Health Care Assistant

Learning Disability Clinic
We provide annual reviews for patients with a learning disability, this is a combined clinic with our trained nurse and doctor.
Time: Please ring the surgery for an appointment with Carolyn Wright and the Doctor for a learning disability review.
Health Checks
We also offer health checks for patients 75 years and over and for patients who have not been seen by the Practice for more than 3 years. Please contact reception and ask for an over 75 health check with the nurse or a standard health check with the nurse if you have not been seen for more than 3 years.
Chlamydia Screening
Chlamydia is a common bacterial sexually transmitted infection with the potential to cause serious health problems if left untreated. We now offer free Chlamydia swab screening – you can collect a pack from the surgery. Please contact the surgery for more information .
Dementia Screening
We offer dementia screening appointments with the Health Care Assistant and home visits for those patients and carers that experience difficulties attending the surgery,please call and speak to Carol Gudger who can organise a home visit.
Rheumatoid Arthritis Screening
We now offer annual screening jointly with our Practice Nurse and GP, please contact the surgery to book a review appointment.
