This year’s Food and Faith Festival was held at the Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara on Marlborough Road, Nuneaton, on Saturday 19th October.
The Sikh Mission Centre, The Nuneaton Muslim Society, Liberty Family Church, Abbey Church of St Mary the Virgin and the Nepalese Community were all present, to help celebrate the wonderfully diverse borough, with food to sample and enjoy and the opportunity to learn about different faiths and cultures in our communities.
Our PPG Chair John Smallwood attended and represented the Practice and was so impressed with the event, the celebration of all faiths together and sampled the most amazing food.
Artist, Ranbir Kaur attended along with our colleagues from NBBC Communities Team, WCC Community Safety, WCC Kind Communities, Kind Food, CAVA, Citizen’s Advice Bureau to help with concerns over the winter fuel allowance cut and members of Neighbourhood Watch.
