Patient Group

We have an active patient participation group which meets quarterly with the Practice to help improve health and the quality of service available to our patients and we encourage and welcome their support, ideas and suggestions. This has improved communication, health promotion and influenced services etc.  We currently have 12 members representing the patient population consisting of 4 males and 8 females with an age mix between 55 and 82 years of age, some of which are carers themselves.  We have a limited ethnic group but are pleased to welcome a patient representing the polish community. We are keen to include a wider patient representation to target wider ethnic groups, carers, learning disability and young adults. If you are interested in joining the group please ask to speak to the Practice Manager or alternatively you can talk to a PPG Member for further addvice and future meetings – Mr Jeff Higgs  02476 747122

The PPG assist in handing out the patient survey questionnaires each year within the practice, the results are analysed and a report showing the results are displayed in the waiting room, on this website and in the quarterly newsletter in the waiting room. The practice  meet and discuss the results jointly with the PPG and discuss the key priority areas that may require addressing. There may be areas you think we could focus on, please contact Mr Higgs on the number above to discuss areas you think are the most important and this can then be discussed at the next PPG meeting.
