Appointments

Our doors have always been open throughout the pandemic for patients without covid symptoms to ensure patients without access to technology are not disadvantaged and can approach the Patient Service Advisor team for assistance during opening hours.

 

Patients can raise queries and make appointments by phone, present in the waiting room, using our generic email address and by using the accurx patient triage online link on our website. The practice offer initial telephone and online consultations and clinicians invite patients down for a face to face appointment following triage where clinically indicted.

 

Patients are seen face to face for almost all Practice Nurse appointments.

 

The practice Patient Service Advisor team do prioritise care and signpost patients to the most appropriate service or team member within the practice following a discussion with the patient. We are trying to avoid overcrowding in our waiting room and therefore remote triage is used by the Practice where possible. Infection control and the safety of our patients and staff are our priority and where possible we are attempting to reduce the risk by triaging patients to reduce the need to attend the practice.
