The Practice currently offers dementia assessments and reviews patients with dementia. The Practice Nurses and the Health Care Assistant can offer support and information for patients and carers. We currently have dementia clinic appointments available at the Practice and also offer home visit appointments. We can provide lots of supporting materials and links to useful information and new services are being implemented locally to support people with dementia and their carers. Following training at the Practice we are aware that Bedworth Leisure Centre and Jubilee Leisure Centre are both planning to introduce specific exercise classes for people with dementia and the that plans are being developed to introduce swimming classes in the near future.
