The PPG and the Practice organised a walk around Shustoke reservoir which was attended by staff, patients and PPG members. A raffle was organised which raised £400 with proceeds going toward the Guillain-Barré charity and towards a new ECG machine for the Practice.
The PPG Chair John Smallwood said he was so pleased with the turnout; raising money for charity and equipment at the same time, great networking with the practice and other patients. The weather was perfect we all had great fun and an enjoyable day. Families and dogs attended with a few well-earned drinks at the Plough Inn over the road from the reservoir.
John plans to organise a further event in 2024, this will be circulated to all staff and patients and we hope to raise further funds for charity at the same time.
A huge thank you to all that attended and supported the charity by buying raffle tickets and providing prizes.
