Patient Survey Results

The GP Patient Survey Results for April 2010 – March 2011 are displayed in the waiting area and in the practice newsletter.  This has been discussed with the patient participation group. Our lowest performing areas were speaking to a GP or Nurse on the phone and seeing your preferred doctor.  We do take messages from patients for a ring back from the doctor and nurse when necessary, the doctors deal with these requests usually at the end of their surgery.  The practice scored below the national average for patients seeing their preferred doctor, unfortunately Dr Marlow’s results reflected this as she is only part time and works only 2 mornings each week. We do try and reserve some same day appointments for patients but again these do become booked quite quickly on the day. We can always offer our patients their preferred GP but at times it may mean you may have to wait particularly if your chosen GP is on holiday.
